A priest in Nnewi Anglican Diocese, Rev. Canon Benson Chukwunweike, a few hours ago was elected as the Bishop of Awgu/Aninri Diocese.
Rev. Canon Benson Chukwunweike was until his election, the Vicar of Holy Trinity Anglican Church Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi.
Rev. Canon Benson Chukwunweike will replace the retiring Bishop of Awgu/Aniniri Diocese, Rt. Revd Dr. Emmaunuel A. Ugwu.
Rev. Canon Benson Chukwunweike is married to Mrs C. Chukwunweike.

Mrs C. Chukwunweike is a principal of Premium Breed Secondary School, Nnewichi, Nnewi.
