The Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Dr. Willie Obiano, today, 26th September 2019 presented a budget estimate of N137.14bn for the 2020 fiscal year to Anambra State House of Assembly for approval.
The budget is tagged “Accelerating Infrastructural Development and Youth Entrepreneurship”

According to the budget details, N58.8bn has been earmarked for recurrent expenditure, while N78.8bn is for capital expenditure.
The 2020 budget estimate is lower than that of 2019, which was N157.1 billion, though which was later increased to N157.17 billion, after some amendment by the Anambra State House of Assembly.
