Nigeria rapper and model Chukie Edozien aka Lynxxx is the son of former deputy governor of old Bendel State Chief John Edozien. He was born into a family of six, him being the last child and only son on 24 November, 1983.
He attended Corona Primary School Ikoyi, Lagos and King’s College Lagos for his secondary education. He attended University of Hull in the United Kingdom where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics and Marketing.
He got into the music scene in 2009 when he dropped the hit,’’Change your parade’’ produced by Syndik8 in-house producer and partner ‘’IKON’’.

In 2010, he released his debut album,”This is Lynxx” which featured a combination of musical genres including urban hip hop, contemporary RnB and funky house. He refers to this as JOLLOF MUSIK. This is also around the time he became the first Nigerian artist to be endorsed by Pepsi.
He has been nominated for several awards including –

- 2011 The Headies Awards for Revelation of the year
- 2011 Nigerian Music video awards Best afro Hiphop
- 2012 Complete Fashion for Most stylish Male Artiste
- 2012 SouthSouth Music Awards for Best collaboration for ‘’Fine Lady’’
- 2013 SouthSouth Music Awards for Best Hiphop for ‘’Eziokwu’’
In addition to his musical career, Lynxx is an entrepreneur and has established several successful buisnesses which include Syndik8 Denim, A digital recording studio called Red Room Studio, A media company called Happy Teddy Media (HTM) and Syndik8 Films.
During the interview, the rapper who was asked if he smokes had reportedly answered by talking about alcohol and how it is not a sin.

Lynxxx had also reportedly talked about being a born-again. He said: “I am born-again, but I am not doing gospel music and I don’t do secular music again too. I cannot call myself a minister of God just because I performed at a gospel show.
I don’t have a name for my kind of music. If I feel like praising God today, I will make a song about God, and it doesn’t necessarily mean I am a gospel artiste.”
After becoming a born-again Christian in 2015, Lynxxx took some tome off from singing. He also talked about why he took some time off.
The rapper said: “I took a break because I needed to focus on business and my new found relationship with God in 2015. You could have a career but also have goals that might not be in line with what you do for a living.

Sometimes, you have to make sacrifices and focus on other things before you get back to what you are known for.” According to him, he doesn’t regret quitting secular music. He said: “God is the most important thing to me. You can never experience Christ in His true form and regret it.
I don’t think there is anyone who can tell me that they h ave encountered the Holy Spirit and regretted it. It is impossible!” “I didn’t perform because I am now part of the community putting things together.
