BEN BRUCE: ATIKU MEETS THOSE APC CLAIMED WILL ARREST HIM IN US
The Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray Bruce has said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar met with those the All Progressives Congress, APC, claimed would arrest him in the United States, US.
Bruce said this while sharing a photograph of the former Vice President meeting with some congressmen upon his arrival in Washington DC.
Abubakar and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki had last night arrived in the Washington, DC.
The former Vice President’s visit is against the belief that he had been barred from the US due to corruption charges.
The APC-led Federal Government had claimed the Wazirin Adamawa would never be able to enter the US over money laundering allegations hanging on his neck.
However, Bruce, in a tweet wrote: “How ironic that we are meeting with the very people that @OfficialAPCNg claim want to arrest @atiku.
“While some people are not sure whether or they are the Presidential candidate of their party, @atiku Abubakar is sure if himself and making an impact for Nigeria in America.”
