A video surfaced online showing two opposing cult groups, Vikings and Aiyes in a bloody cult clash shooting and macheting each other in the open at an unidentified location in Awka.
Recall that Anaedoonline.ng reported that on Sunday 28th March 2021, two cult groups clashed in Awka, which resulted in three young men losing their lives.

However, the Anambra State police command have announced it has arrested four notorious cultists in connection to the event of 28th March that shook the capital city of Awka.
It will be recalled that in the early hours of 28th March 2021, along Ifite Awka, Zik’s Avenue in Awka South LGA, two persons had been arrested following a clash between two rival cult groups which left two yet to be unidentified young men dead.
The arrest of two persons was effected by the Command Police Operatives, with the names of the culprits deliberately withheld so as not to jeopardize investigations and possible arrest of other fleeing members.
Consequent upon that, and acting on credible information, Police operatives attached to B Divisional Headquarters, Awka, at about 5:30 am today 29th March 2021, arrested four other suspects namely: kpozoume Alfred Prince aged 28 years, Sunday Nwadgazi 30 years, Micheal Tyozua aged 30years and Gambo Michael aged 40years in their hideout in an uncompleted building at Miracle area by Ifite Awka.

Meanwhile, the operation is still ongoing to apprehend other members still at large.
In view of the above, the Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Monday Bala kuryas fsi, while commending the operatives, urged them to sustain the tempo and reiterated the command’s commitment to continuously combat acts of crime and criminality in the state.
