On Wednesday, 26th May 2021, At the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The President of the federal republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari met with Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity.
Anaedoonline.ng gathered that Buhari and his aides received Hamid Dbeibeh and members of his entourage at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa at about 10.05 a.m.
Nigeria’s president was also joined to receive the Libyan PM at the forecourt of the villa by cabinet members including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, as well as some presidential aides.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the two leaders are expected to deliberate on bilateral issues meant to benefit and enhance the economies of both countries.
Dbeibeh would use the opportunity of the meeting with Buhari to console him and the people of Nigeria over the death of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru and ten other military officers last Friday.

Recall that the Libyan leader had on May 25 participated in the Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) held at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
