Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has come up with a set of radical changes to the football game which he hopes can be applied soon.
Wenger, who had a lucrative 34-year managerial career including 22 with Arsenal, now works with FIFA on various capacities.
Arsène Wenger's proposed changes to football:
– Corners that go out of the play but swing back in should be valid
– Opportunity to take throw-ins in your own half as kicks
– Change the offside rule in favour of attacking playershttps://t.co/SbTYU94RLK

The 70-year old is part of the International FA Borad, which is tasked with deciding on changes on the game’s laws.
With such massive experience on matters football, it is only natural for Wenger to be able to point out what he feels needs changes in the game.
This is exactly what he did and in in an interview with L’Equipe, via Get French Football News, the Frenchman shed light on various rules he believes should be amended.
For one thing, Wenger wants to see the advantage rule being offered much more often to attacking players.
He also wants strikers to be considered onside if part of the body which they can score with is level with the defender. In other words, if the hands are in an offside position, the former tactician wants the player to still be considered onside.
Wenger analysed: “For the moment, you are offside if a part of your body that you can score with sits ahead of the body of a defender.

I would like it to be that there is no offside so long as a (single) body part which a player can score with is in line with the defender.
This could be too much of an advantage for an attacker, because that obliges the defenders to play higher up.”
Another off rule Wenger is considering is allowing play to go on if an in-swinging corner flies out of play then back on the pitch.
Finally, there is also a proposition to play a quick free kick to oneself. Playing a freekick to yourself has certainly worked quite well in other sport disciplines including hockey.

This isn’t the first time Wenger has relayed some potential changes in the game. Last year, radical changes were being considered for the Euro 2020 but the rules thoroughly conflicted with the fairly new VAR system.
