Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, met with a number of significant stakeholders on Wednesday to discuss the start of the party’s campaign.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the key meeting was attended by certain governors chosen on the platform of the ruling party as well as members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
The three-hour meeting’s purpose was to discuss issues involving the party’s campaign list. It was held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
Participants in the meeting were Tinubu, Senator Kashim Shettim, his running partner and the former governor of Borno State, Simon Lalong, the campaign director general and governor of Plateau State, and Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the House of Representatives.
However, only fourteen of the APC’s governor candidates showed up for the meeting, leaving five empty seats.

13. Professor Babagana Zullum (Borno)
14. Mai Mala Buni (Yobe).
