The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, expressed his commendation for the successful operation and the effective collaboration between the police operatives and the local vigilante team. He emphasized the importance of sustaining such collaborative efforts in the ongoing battle against criminal elements. The Commissioner called for a continuous onslaught on criminals until crime rates are significantly reduced, allowing residents to move about safely and without fear.
Additionally, CP Adeoye praised the Anambra State judiciary for fulfilling its crucial role in society. He noted that previous challenges in curbing crime were often linked to the ease with which crime suspects were able to return to society and commit further offenses while previous trials were ongoing. With the support of critical stakeholders, including vigilant law enforcement agencies and an engaged community, the Commissioner expressed confidence that the fight against crime would be won, and Anambra State would become a preferred investment destination known for its enhanced security.
