Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate Josephine Otabor, also known as Phyna, has responded to famed Nigerian artist David Adeleke (Davido), who stated in a social media post that he does not know her.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Phyna won Season 7 of the BBNaija reality show in 2022.
Phyna had before accused Davido of “hating” her on social media when it was uncovered that he liked a post slamming her.
An X user with the username @47kasz tweeted, ‘’There some particular celebrities you’d Stan & I will profile, judge & conclude you are u$eless cos wydm you are stanning phyna????’’

In a swift response after Davido’s reaction to the said post went viral, Phyna took to her X handle and wrote: “Wetin I do @davido? Na wah oh, The hate is real….., Congratulations on your twins sha.”
Reacting, Davido said, “Thank you love but I actually don’t know who you are .. and it was an honest mistake .. no vex.’’
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Davido’s response to Phyna sparked outrage on the microblogging platform, with many praising him for “humiliating clout chasing” Phyna. Some netizens, on the other hand, blasted the singer for denying the reality star, who rose to prominence after winning the BBNaija reality TV competition last year.
In a following remark, Phyna took to her X account and expressed gratitude to God for knowing her.

Via the same platform, former Big Brother Naija reality star, Tacha, consoled Phyna saying they all knew her.
“I know you Phyna. We plenty wey know you,” Tacha wrote on X.
