Ihedioha, Uzodinma, Araraume Gears Up In Wait As The Clock Ticks

Any moment from now, the Apex Court shall give a date for final determination of the appeals filed by Senators Ifeanyi Araraume (APGA) and Hope Uzodinma (APC) challenging the ruling of Election Petition Tribunal and Appeal Court which upheld the election of Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of PDP as the winner of 2019 Imo State Governorship Election.

There’s no gainsaying that expectations are high, with loyalists looking up to high heavens for favour.

At 31st December 2019 cross overnight of Adoration Ministries, Fr. Ejike Mbaka in a prophetic utterance told his adherents that there’s HOPE in Imo State. And was bold to say that come 2020, APC shall take over the state from the ruling party.

Loyalists to Gov. Ihedioha frowned at the prophecy while those of Senator Uzodinma were highly delighted. As Hope is the first name of the candidate of APC, this made his loyalists to lay claim of the prophecy, and if he is declared a winner by the court, APC for sure has taken over the state.

In the recent past, it has been rumoured that the present governor is making moves of defection to APC. If he defects, haven’t APC taken over the state?

We are equally not mindful of the alliance between Owelle Rochas Okorocha and Senator Ifeanyi Araraume; if the election is cancelled and Senator Araraume wins in the runoff, haven’t APC taken over the state?

There is more to Fr. Mbaka prophecy than which ordinary eyes could see. In my earlier brief remarks immediately the prophecy was made, I advised the governor and his loyalists not to abuse or curse Fr. Mbaka for this singular prophecy but to earnestly pray and seek the face of God with a contrite spirit and a broken heart.

Bible references abound where Almighty God changed His mind after His prophet has proclaimed God’s message on His people. Our God is a merciful God; He shall curse whosoever He chooses to curse, and will be merciful to who He wants. “…not he that willeth, but He that showeth mercy”.

It interests me that Gov. Ihedioha and his team heeded to my advice by seeking the face of God in a manner they deemed fit. I commend his live appearance at the just concluded Lords Chosen Crusade, Mgbidi2020 where he must have asked God to have mercy and grant favour upon him and his government.

Okorocha Is Done For’ – Senator Uzodinma

In that my short piece, I also advised Senator Uzodinma and his people not to solely rely on the prophecy as was relayed through Fr. Mbaka but to earnestly pray for its fulfillment in their favour.

Almighty God gave us salvation free of charge through the blood sacrifice of His beloved son on the cross of calvary, but in the subsequent verse, God asked us to work out our salvation.

Senator Araraume and his group as we all know are not involved in this prophetic claims and counters, but the outcome must affect them directly or indirectly. What is been heard of them is their alliance with Senator Rochas Okorocha, which, to me is a good strategy at this point in time.

As we patiently wait for this landmark ruling, we should have it at the back of our minds that the ruling might go thus:

~ The Apex Court might dismiss the appeals of the two Senators by upholding the ruling of the Appeal Court. At this point, Gov. Emeka Ihedioha and his camp will celebrate for their final victory.

~ The Apex Court might see merits in the appeal filed by Senator Hope Uzodinma. And may add the votes collated from 388 polling units which INEC failed to collate at the State Collation Centre during the polls. If this is done, Senator Uzodinma will be outrightly declared winner by the courts which will vindicate the position of Imo Shadow Government.

~ The Apex Court might see merits in the appeal filed by Senator Ifeanyi Araraume by deducting the votes alleged to have come from the three Mbaise LGA’s through over voting, and this may lead to cancellation of the election and ordering of a run-off between the first and second position in the log.

If this becomes the order of the day, the alliance between Senators Okorocha and Araraume will be a major threat to the Gov. Emeka Ihedioha and the PDP, while Senator Uzodinma and his group may seek a new alliance with either of the two parties, PDP and APGA/APC.

When the Apex Court rules, I expect Imo People with one accord to shout ‘as court pleases’, while all the Glory goes to God Almighty.

As we watch and pray for our individual and collective interests, let’s THINK and ACT Wisely. The world is full of vanities.
