Renowned Dr. Alutu College Of Excellence And Computer Studies, Nnewi Comes Top In A Competition
The environment was filled with joy yesterday 26th June 2019 as one of the pupils of Dr. Alutu College of Excellence and Computer Studies, Miss Chioma Ogbo, came first position in the spelling competition organized by World Best Educative TV Show held at Anambra State Broadcasting Service (ABS), Awada Onitsha.
The school, which comprises of primary, secondary, remedial (adult education) and computer college, which was founded in the year 1984 by Late Dr. John Okonkwo Alutu has excelled in all round of education endeavor and activities.
In an interview with the pupils who participated in the competition, they expressed how nervous and afraid they were during the competition especially when seated on the hot seat.
Miss Chioma Ogbo (9years) in (Grade 4) who emerged the champion in the competition expressed how excited she was while seated during the competition. Other pupils who went from the school include Onyejuwa Favor (Grade 6), Egwutuoha Chidubem (Grade 6), Nwabuko Wisdom (Grade 6), Okafor Chiderah, (Grade 5), Amamchukwu Chinemerem (Grade 6) and Obiorah Divinerich (Grade 5).

Meanwhile, three pupils from the school were part of the audience seated for the competition; Ike Chidimma (Grade 4), Alutu Amanda (Grade 4) and Chukwudiebube Ifechukwu (Grade 5).
The two school teachers, who prepared and supervised these pupils properly for the competition are; Mrs. Olubuihe Victoria and Corper Olurundaye Grace were happy with the performance of the pupils and prayed that they will still come out first at the National level competition that will be coming up soon in Abuja.
