The INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church Leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has forecast that Nigeria’s economy will not improve this year.
Ayodele ascribed the difficulties to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), noting that the PDP is primarily responsible for the nation’s problems.
The spiritual leader voiced doubts about Bola Tinubu’s capacity to work any kind of quick magic to improve the economy. He attacked government programmes, calling the N10,000 rice auction by Customs a botched attempt brought on by shoddy planning.

Ayodele emphasised the failure of the PDP and APC and said that any improvements would only come at the conclusion of the next year. He underlined the necessity of sincere prayers and cautioned that the situation could only improve with appropriate government actions.
The religious leader emphasised the role of agriculture in the nation’s economic revival and asked the government to work with regional producers.
The Clergyman stated, “Let us be sincere with ourselves: both APC and PDP have failed Nigeria, but the highest percentage goes to APC. The blame is on Tinubu because the situation got worse when it got to his turn.
“Nigerians should be aware that things will not get better this year. Tinubu cannot perform any magic, and if at all things want to get better, it will be towards the end of next year,” he added.
