Hon. Tonye Adoki and Hon. Linda Somari Stewart, both members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, have reportedly decided to rejoin the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) after rescinding their decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Remember that Governor Siminalayi Fubara, the current governor of Rivers State, and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike are engaged in a political power struggle.

An X user named @SodiqTade, who is regarded as a PDP mainstay, said that the development was verified.
He stated, “As of 11:35 a.m., two of the 26 members have reversed their decisions to join APC in Rivers State and have now pledged their loyalty to PDP and the leadership of Sim Fubara. We now have 7 members.”
