Controversial The late Mohbad, according to Nigerian artist Speed Darlington, is to responsible for allowing his former record label head Naira Marley and his cronies to bully him.
After Mohbad’s passing, according to allegations from Anaedoonline.ng, Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry allegedly bullied the musician while he was still alive.
Mohbad has been abused in a number of videos posted on social media by persons who are allegedly connected to his former record label boss.

In response to the accusations, Speed Darlington called Mohbad a coward.
Speaking on Instagram, he said that he had seen footage of only Mohbad running and whining about the lads’ abuse of him when he had the opportunity to fight back and leave one of them with a wounded face.
According to him, “Make sure you produce a beast. Do not produce a weakling. I saw too many videos of a dead man. He goes like this ‘If anything happens to me to me like this, Na Marlian and his boys, I dey look am I say Ah see this weakling. Bully nor dey attack person when go beat am. Bully will size you up, convince himself that I can finish that boy before they attack. Bully do not attack people that are stronger than, If every time when they attacked this boy, whether they are two or three and one of them bleeds profusely, they would not continue to do it’’
