The Bauchi Connection:
The investigation revealed that the suspect had allegedly stolen the vehicle from a dealer in neighboring Bauchi State. Earlier, the Bauchi police had received a distress call reporting an incident involving three unknown individuals who posed as car buyers at S Fawa Motors along Murtala Muhammad Way in Bauchi. The Commissioner of Police in Jigawa State, Emmanuel Ekot, has ordered the transfer of the case to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the Police Headquarters in Dutse for a thorough investigation. Once the investigation is completed, the suspect will be charged accordingly in court.
