The Presidential Election lawsuit Court (PEPC) will provide a decision on the Labour Party’s (LP) lawsuit challenging the election of President Bola Tinubu on September 6.
You may recall that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal said on Monday that the decision on the petitions contesting President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election would be delivered on September 6.
The date for the much anticipated decision was announced by the Court of Appeal Registrar, Umar Bangari, in a statement.

Bangari also said that interested television stations will be able to broadcast the court proceedings live.
Yunusa Tanko, the head of the LP Presidential Campaign Council, responded to the event on Monday by posting a statement from the tribunal that verified the date for the verdict on his X Twitter.
He said that the tribunal would rule on the party’s lawsuit contesting Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election on Wednesday, September 6.
He wrote: “The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) will, on Wednesday the 6th of September 2023,, deliver its judgement on our Petition as stated in the letter below…………
