Videos of irate Niger Republic citizens knocking up a female politician and another male politician have gone popular on social media.
The recordings are making the rounds on the internet at a time when the country is experiencing a coup in which some members of the country’s military opted to seize control and force President Mohamed Bazoum to stand down and depart office.
The teens attacked and beat up a female lawmaker, as seen in a video released by prominent security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama via his Twitter profile.

Fortunately for her, some other adolescents intervened and saved her from the mob before any serious harm could be done to her.
Another anonymous male politician was also attacked in a similar manner.
As of press time, their offenses had not been determined.
