At the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is currently having a meeting with Chief Pius Anyim, a former spokesman for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.
At around 1:30 pm, Anyim and Metuh, a former PDP national publicity secretary, arrived together and proceeded straight to the president’s office.
Recall that Metuh recently announced both his resignation from the PDP and his retirement from active politics.

The meeting takes place right before President Tinubu sends the Senate a list of nominees for ministerial positions for review.
Anyim served as the SGF to the President under the Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
He was also a presidential aspirant on the PDP platform.
