According to Anaedoonline-exclusive reports, the 10th House of Representatives’ top officials have been introduced by Speaker of the House, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.
Remember that Vanguard Newspaper’s Sunday and Tuesday editions had an exclusive report that Hon. Kingsley Chinda, who represents the Ohio/Akpor federal constituency in Rivers State, would be named the minority leader and Hon. Julius Ihonvbere, who represents the Owan federal constituency in Edo State, was expected to become the majority leader.
10th NASS Speakership: 63 Opposition Members-Elect Endorse Abass, Kalu
According to reports, Abbas made the nominations public during the plenary on Tuesday.
Other principal officers from the Majority Caucus as announced included Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims (Kogi, APC)- Deputy majority leader; Hon. Usman Bello Kumo (Gombe, APC)- Chief Whip and Hon. Adewumi Onanuga (Ogun, APC) -Deputy Majority Whip.
Similarly, for the minority leader, Hon. Ali Isa JC (Gombe, PDP)- Minority Whip; Hon. Ali Madaki (Kano, NNPP) -Deputy minority leader and Hon. George Ozodinobi (Anambra, LP)-Deputy minority Whip.
