According to newsmen, Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, arrived in the middle belt state on Thursday to begin their presidential campaign.
After trooping out in large numbers to greet the duo at the airport, party members and fans of the former Lagos governor applauded loudly.

Meanwhile, against all odds, Bola Tinubu has declared optimism in winning the 2023 election.
The former Lagos State Governor, who suggested that certain people may be plotting to undermine the upcoming elections, assured that despite the different plans, he would win.
He named fuel scarcity and the recent change (including scarcity) of naira notes as some of the ploys that some people may be intending to utilize against the 2023 elections.
Newsmen understands Tinubu made the submission during his party’s campaign rally on Wednesday at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
