The Osun state branch of the People’s Democratic Party on Tuesday announced the suspension of political activities in honor of Ifeanyi, son of hip-hop singer David Adeleke, aka Davido, who has passed away. on Monday.
Osun PDP in his condolence message signed by Acting Party Chairman Dr. Akindele Adekunle in Osogbo sympathizes with the families of the deceased.
He also sends his condolences to Dr. Deji Adeleke, the deceased’s grandfather, and the entire Adeleke family, and prays for God to give the family the strength to bear the loss.
The party also directed all party organs and committees to suspend activities in commiseration with the family, describing the incident as “a very sad occurrence.”
The statement further read in part, “We mourn the sorrowful exit of our son, Ifeanyi. We pray for the repose of his soul. It is a sad day but we remain steadfast in our faith in the Lord of the Universe.

“It (the PDP) directed all party organs and committees to suspend activities in commiseration with the family.
“Our condolence goes to Davido, our youth ambassador. We commiserate with our father figure, Dr Deji Adeleke, and the entire Adeleke family. We pray the good Lord grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
