Former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka, has expressed sorrow over the assassination of a ‘Army couple’ in Imo State and asked the Igbo to speak out.
Chidoka, who said he viewed the video, issued a statement on Monday calling the conduct a sacrilege and defilement of Igboland.
Killing a woman whose crime is that she works to keep her body and spirit together “is terrible and unforgivable,” he said.

“Nwa okpu, our culture and spiritual belief system forbid the murdering of women. It is nefarious. “Evil has infiltrated our nation,” the ex-Corps Marshall declared.

Women and marginalized groups, Chidoka stated, must be respected, and murdering defenseless individuals is a crime against humanity.
