Abdullahi Adamu, the newly-elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been formally given the party’s leadership.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Adamu was elected chairman of the party during the party’s national convention, which took place in Abuja’s Eagles Square.
Mai Mala Buni, the governor of Yobe State, turned over today after twenty-one months at the helm of the party’s affairs.

Buni has experienced significant difficulties as the party’s Chairman Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) in recent months.
He was finally handed over today, at a short ceremony conducted at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
The event was witnessed by all the newly elected executive members and Nasarawa Governor, Abdullahi Sule, Naija News understands.
