In Niger, a local governor told Newsmen on Sunday that a Nigerian Army airstrike targeting ‘bandits’ killed seven children and injured five others by mistake.
On Friday, Chaibou Aboubacar, the governor of the Maradi district, claimed, “There was a mistake with the Nigerian border attacks that resulted in casualties on our territory in the village of Nachade.”
