Following the affirmation of a Federal High Court in Abuja that, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume was the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Imo North Senatorial bye-election, the former governor of the State, and Senator Representing Imo West Senatorial District, Senator Rochas Okorocha has joined other well-meaning Nigerians, especially Imo people, to Congratulate Senator Araraume on his Victory.

With Senator Araraume in the Senate, lmo state would now have two Senators of APC extraction in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, out of the three Senators from the State. And to all intents and purposes, that is a very wonderful development.
Senator Araraume having served in the Senate for two terms before now, would now be expected to bring his wealth of experience to bear and for the good of the people of Imo North Senatorial District in particular, Imo people and Nigerians in general.
Senator Okorocha also commended the APC members in Imo North Senatorial District, who had worked hard to ensure that the party won at the Poll. He equally commended the Chairman of APC in the State, Mr. Daniel Nwafor and members of his EXCO for their support for Senator Araraume.
