
“today is significant and eventful as it mark our one year of meaningful leadership of provision of basic infrastructures , recovery of stolen government lands and assets , revival of the civil service and getting Imo rid of payroll fraud.
I give thanks to God Almighty for helping me recover my mandate, it is not possible to put up a plan and it works out, you should know that God made it work .
“It has not been easy with the complexity of managing a state that was almost looted dry, nevertheless, our achievements so far has been a source of joy” Uzodimma said.
In his homily, entitled “Rejoice oh ye Jerusalem” the metropolitan Bishop of Owerri Ecclesiastistal catholic diocese, His Grace Most Rev AJV Obinna noted that no man is ever the source of joy to his fellow man but God who doeth things as it pleases him.

Arch Bishop AJV Obinna prayed God to strengthen the shared prosperity Government of Gov Hope Uzodinma in his recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction plans that has already commenced in the state in the last one year.
On the sidelines of the event are the vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osibanjo who admonished Gov Hope Uzodinma to be wary of those who would ever see anything good done by his government but rather work to render service to Imo people as God is the rewarder of every good and bad thing done by man.
Further more , The president of the Senate Ahmed Lawal who spoke on behalf of all the legislatures present both national and state commended Gov Hope Uzodinma for doing good his promises to imo people and urge him to sustain the pace at which he is reconstructing the state to wear a better look .

Amongst other dignitaries present at the ceremony are Senator Ovie Omo Agege( Deputy Senate President), Idris Wase (Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives), Governor Dave Umahi (Governor Ebonyi State), Governor Yahya Bello (Kogi State), Governor Sanwo Olu (Lagos State), Gov.
