The Imo State Police Command has commenced an investigation into the killing of two policemen.
Gunmen had on Friday night invaded Obowo Divisional Police headquarters located at Umulowe, killed two policemen and injured three other cops.
The police spokesperson in the state, Orlando Ikeokwu, told newsmen on Saturday that the command had commenced investigation into the murder incident and the attack on one of its formations.

He disclosed that Tactical Units of the command had been drafted to the scene of the crime, even as he assured that the culprits would be apprehended.
Ikeokwu, also said that the injured policemen had been transferred to a good medical facility where they were being taken care of.
