Information gathered revealed that the robbers were engaged by some hunters and three of the robbers were reportedly caught and set ablaze by residents of the town.
The incident was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Oyo State Police Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi.
He, however, said he was still gathering information about the attack and would release further information on the incident later.
