The campaign for Nigeria’s impending general elections has progressed, with presidential contenders canvassing votes in various parts of the country. The All Progressives Congress, APC, has earned significant support from the country’s south eastern region, as the people of Anambra welcomed the APC campaign team to the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, Anambra State on January 31st.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, arrived to a roaring audience while dancing to campaign songs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sen. Magery Chuba Okadigbo, APC Presidential Campaign Council Coordinator for Anambra State, promised that APC Anambra State is ready to vote for BAT in the elections.

Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State, urged the people to be steady in their support. He asked Anambra State leaders to organize the people in order to win the election. He expressed gratitude to Anambra Youths and Students for their overwhelming support.
DG of the Campaign, Solomon Lalong, the Governor of Plateau State, reminded the people of late Sen. Okadigbo and Alex Ekwueme’s enormous strides in south east Nigeria. He also cautioned them not to let their efforts go to waste.
The APC National Chairman, while addressing the people, insists that Asiwaju is a candidate for the people. Anambra State is for him and the south east at large has resolved to vote for BAT as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Tinubu while addressing the massive crowd, welcomed them to a revolution. In his words, “This is a broom revolution. in the memory of my friend Chuka Okadigbo, we want to make to make Anambra State greater.

He saluted his Deputy, Kasim Shettima, and promised that they will bring development and industries to Anambra State which is what Anambra State is known for.
His words; “we will check the erosion, we will create jobs for our youths, we will industrialize and make Anambra the World Economic Center of Nigeria.”

The APC presidential candidate reminded the people that their PVC is thier “master and voice of commandments”.
On the Opposition Party, he said “Atiku says he is the candidate of the north, Is that not a division amongst us? when I was paying WAEC fees for people in Lagos, I didn’t mind if you’re Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa. I paid for all. you have seen people that I have helped, including a pastor who is now a financial, economic adviser to Buhari.

“Charles Soludo, your son is not contesting with me, he is brilliant, a thinker, I salute his vision and Soludo is the one I will work with when I become president. You will have your industrial hub . we are not like the PDP , they forget you can fabricate engine, and turn this place into an industry. Lie lie is to much and when Atiku says walai talai tell him, na lie, na lie.”
He reassured the people that there is no room for panic even though Peter Obi is from Anambra State. “I am not afraid of anybody and I don’t worry. In the Bible, peter denied Jesus 3 times how do you think he can keep a promise to you? Did I close any market? did I kill anybody? it means I am Smart. God Bless you.”
The event was graced by top party dignitaries like, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, The APC Presidential Campaign Director General and Governor of Plateau State, Solomon Lalong, APC Presidential Campaign Council Coordinator, Anambra State, Sen. Magery Chuba Okadigbo, Dozie Ikedife, Zonal Organising Secretary (South-East).
In an interview with Anaedoonline, the political heavyweight and Zonal Organising Secretary (South-East), Dozie Ikedife, revealed the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win States in South East and other part of the country to win the next month Presidential election.

His words; “Its’ obvious that Tinibu has over 50,000 supporters present at this rally and we are mobilizing; Imo and Ebonyi State is in the bag already and we are trying in Enugu state and Abia State. I am excited and optimistic that Asiwaju will win this election. Its’ a battle of the 36 states and we will have victory in 27 or 28 states.
