According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, thinks that if interested stakeholders participate in discussion, the agitation for the Igbo presidency in 2023 will be cast aside.
According to Debo Ologunagba, the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, the party merely needs a round table to put the problem of agitation by any area to rest.
Every part of the country, according to Ologunagba, has individuals with leadership characteristics who sincerely care about Nigeria.

“On the topic of an Igbo president, the argument is this: our party thinks that every section of this country qualifies, competent folks who are truly patriotic to this nation,” the PDP spokesperson stated.
“We know that if we start talking to ourselves and reconciling, all of those inclinations would begin to subsume into the common purpose, so that would be the strategy to reconcile and bring everyone together.”
“You may listen to everyone’s worries, and as soon as you answer them, all of those troubles will fade away.”

Meanwhile, if voted to power in 2023, the PDP has disclosed how it aims to address the Biafra movement headed by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as well as insecurity in general across the country.

When asked how PDP plans to address IPOB’s Biafra movement if it returns to power in 2023, he emphasized that the party welcomes people of all ethnicities and does not tolerate any type of bigotry.
As a result, he stated that the party intends to provide IPOB with a sense of belonging.
According to him: “PDP is a party that believes in the unity and cohesiveness of every part of this country, and for you to solve the issue of insecurity, you must give every part of this country a sense of belonging.
