Senator Godswill Akpabio, a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, has expressed his commitment to assisting President-elect Bola Tinubu in fulfilling his campaign promises.
According to Newsmen, the candidate for Senate President made the pledge on Thursday in Abuja when he met with a group of young professionals who were represented by Senator Akpabio.
Akpabio declared that he is prepared to assist Tinubu in developing good laws and policies that will have an influence on the lives of Nigerians.

When elected Senate President, Akpabio promised to work closely with the executive branch to eradicate poverty, insecurity, and other societal ills.
With more than 23 years of experience in the public sector, the former governor stated that he had pledged to develop young people and women of integrity that the society could count on.
The group was praised for their work thus far, and Akpabio, who will represent the Akwa Ibom North-West senatorial zone, vowed to keep his word to Nigerians who have faith in him as a leader.
The group of nearly 40 people representing a variety of professions described Akpabio as the face of the underprivileged young in the upcoming administration.
The experts, led by Islameen Etudiaye, CEO of TechBuildaz, and Jeffery Udende, CEO of Troika Tech, claimed that Akpabio has the necessary skills to serve as President of Nigeria’s 10th Senate.

According to the organization, Sen. Akpabio deserves to be elected Senate president without opposition given the significant votes the South-South region generated, particularly in the state of Akwa Ibom.
When the president-elect is sworn in on May 29, the young professionals said that Akpabio is the only candidate who can support his efforts.
